I choose to live in North Lake Tahoe because it’s the best of Tahoe without the busy tourist feel. Incline Village is the pinnacle of that having a quiet relaxed pace and abundant nature as part of the design of the living style and design. Incline Village is located about 25 minutes outside of Carson City, South Lake Tahoe, and Reno and is the perfect getaway location for second home owners and vacation home owners and a little strip of paradise for us full time residents.
In the summer enjoy hiking, biking, and all other summer activities in one of the most beautiful places on earth: Lake Tahoe. Lake Tahoe is known for one of the bluest lakes surrounded by scenic forest area. Spend a lazy day on the beach, as an owner of a property in Incline you get access to three private beaches Incline Beach, Burnt Cedar Beach, and Ski Beach where you can launch your boat or water toys for free. Included in your owning property in Incline Village North Lake Tahoe Nevada you have access to the Incline Village Recreation Center which has a gym, heated indoor pool, fitness classes, and a tennis club. Spring and summer are the best time for golfing and owners in Incline Village get reduced green fees at the two local golf courses Championship Golf Course, and Mountain Golf Course which offer free Tee times after 5:00pm to locals.

The Golf Course neighborhood is made up of mostly single family custom residences and condominiums in a low elevation central location. Most homes back up to the golf course or are a short walk to the Championship golf course. If you love to golf you will enjoy living in this neighborhood surrounded by green belt areas, U.S. Forest land, and small creeks in the spring and summer both golf course offer free tee times after five o’clock. The best part of this neighborhood is that it is convenient to both the Championship and Mountain Golf courses. Harold drive is named after Harold Tiller, one of the three original founders of Incline Village. Walking distance to grocery stores, shopping, resturants, and Incline High School. Elevation approximately 6,400′ to 7,040′ at the Mountain course.

The Lakeview neighborhood is composed of mostly single family homes and is in one of the lowest elevation neighborhoods. This neighborhood is in close proximity to shopping, the Post Office and Lake Tahoe. Some of the homes in this area have lake views, other have nature views since the homes are surrounded by some douglas and fir trees. James lane is named after James McCourry, one of the three founders of Incline. Tiller Drive is named in honor of Harold Tiller. Mays Blvd. is named after Ray Smith’s wife May. Ray was in charge of planning and development in the early stages thus he had a lot of influence over the street names. 6,300′ to 6,400′ is the elevation range.

Homes in the Tyner neighborhood often go for a steal due to the higher elevation because in the mountains the higher the elevation, the higher the snow level. Tyner is a great place to buy that vacation home because you get more home for your buck and in the winter you can sit and watch the snow fall or be skiing within minutes. Tyner is the longest street in Incline and some of the houses have spectaular lake views, or views of the forest covered valley.

This area includes the Hyatt Hotel, visitors center, restaurants, the public library, churches, the hospital, recreation center, tennis complex, and the Raley’s Shopping Center. Walk to the best of Incline and be part of the downtown night life living in the Central Neighborhood. Elevation ranges from 6,300′ to 6,600′.
