Lake Tahoe is one of the most beautiful places in the entire world whether you are there in the summer, winter, spring, or fall there is a ton of activities you don’t want to miss out on.  Now that fall is here I’d like to recommend some activities that are must do when you are in Lake Tahoe.

Visit the historic rail town of Truckee with its many unique shops and restaurants.  Minutes from downtown Truckee is the Donner State park and its museum and monument to the infamous Donner Party Expedition of 1846.  Truckee is right off Highway 80 or you can drive to North Lake Tahoe and take Highway 89 from Kings Beach past Northstar into Truckee.
